Download Android KitKat 4.4 for Virtual Box

HI GUYS!

Here are few steps to install Android Kitkat 4.4 for Virtual Box. Follow the below mentioned steps carefully:

1. Run Oracle VirtualBox and then click on ‘New’ button
2. Enter the name for the virtual box (Android 4.4) and then select the settings. Here you need to enter the Android OS
3. Now choose the RAM memory size which you wish to allocate for the Android 4.4
4. Now choose the option to create a virtual hard drive
5. Select VDI (VirtualBox disc image) and then select the fixed sixe for storage space for VDI. You can choose the storage space amount for your Android OS. Choose at least 16 GB
6. Now you will see a new OS in menu button of Virtual Box by the name Android 4.4. Now right click on virtual machine and select start
7. Once the virtual machine starts, you can select the Android 4.4 ISO image which you downloaded before
8. Click on the small box icon and select the ISO image and click on start
9. Installation screen will appear and then you now select Install Android-x86 to Hard disk
10. Now you need select create/modify partitions. Select New partitionà Let the storage space be as it as and press enter. Then finally select ‘Select’ Write. After this the prompt on the screen will show you “Are you sure you want to write on the partition”. Now Type Yes and press enter. Select Quit and press enter
11. Now again you go back to Blue installation screen. You now need to select sda1 Linux partition and select on OK.
12. Select ext3 filesystem now and select Yes and press enter to format the sda1 to ext3 FS
13. When prompted to install Grub Bootloader, you need to enter Yes
14. Again it will ask you whether System directory can be read-write enabled. You need to select ‘Yes’
15. Select Reboot when Android 4.4 KitKat is successfully installed
16. Now select Devices >> CD/DVD devices and unselect the Android 4.4 ISO image. It is an important step so you need to perform it carefully
17. Now Select Machine >> Close and select Power off the machine and click on the OK. This will close and power off the machine.
18. Now on the virtual machine for Android 4.4, you again go and right click and select Start
19. Finally Select Android-x86 4.4-RC1 and enter.
